Braving the Fort

Here are the monster! Can you tell I was playing around with the settings on the camera? I'll figure it out eventually! I have loved getting back into the scrapping and photo thing! Finding the time to do it is a challenge I am starting to take on. I have always been an insomniac so bring it on! I am totally looking forward to nicer weather and just getting out with the kids. We took them to Fort Casey last week and they ran around until they almost dropped and we hiked down to the beach and skipped rocks. The boys had a blast looking for deer with Dad and Brinlee fell asleep in the backpack! I followed them around like a pathetic shadow trying to get good pictures but needless to say I am a beginner when it comes to the old nikon! I borrowed Dustin and Ciera's camera because I just have my regualr point and shoot Kodak and I love being able to take multiple shots in a row because that's how you catch those adorable moments. I have some studying to do though, I will attach some of the pictures I took though!

it's official!

we are taking a road trip! We are going to wyoming end of june, and then on to illinois for pretty much all of july! I am so excited it will be so fun to get to finally spend some time with Danny's side of the family and the kids will get to hang out and play with thier cousins. it'll probably be a nutty drive but it's worth it.

So I know this blog is a little empty looking but I am still learning so hang in there I promise it will get better. I am going to do my best to write daily and use it as a sort of family journal... we'll see.

Happy Halloween!

So we just found out yesterday that our offer was accepted and we bought our very first house! We are so excited. Danny is leaving early tomorrow morning to go hunting. I am getting ready to take all three of our monsters to the halloween trunk or treat party at church on saturday night! here are a few pictures of their costumes! Kaden only has one because I can't ever get him to hold still long enough to get a good shot!

A brand new start

So I decided that since I couldn't remember all of my old passwords and such that I would just start a new blog and hopefully try to keep this one updated as much as possible. A little update on our little family. We live in Oak Harbor Washington on Whidbey Island and we love it. We waited two and a half long years to get here so this is where we are going to stay. We have three crazy kids, Parker age 3, Kaden who will be 2 in a few weeks and Brinlee who is 10 weeks. Needless to say life is nuts but I love it. Danny works as a paramedic for central Skagit medic one and he is really happy there. He gets to see a lot of cool calls and he works 2 days a week and the rest of the time is home to play with us. It's great. I keep the fort together or I try at least. Parker starts preschool on monday and we are all very excited as it will give everyone a little "me time" (much needed) Hope everyone is doing well and please leave notes for me so I can know if anyone really checks this thing!
