are you gonna cry?

Today my oldest son parker said to me " Mom do you have a baby in your tummy?" to which I said " yep" to which he said " are you gonna go to the dotr (parker speak) and get it out?" I then replied "not for a long time." And then he finished up with "Mom are you gonna cry cuz your blood is coming out like that lady on TV?" . . . HELLO! WHAT? and then I remembered that the other day when he woke up from his "quiet time" I had been watching my one favorite show what not to wear and had moved on to laundry and forgotten about the tv which was then playing a lovely little episode of a baby story! yikes!

. . . yeah, conversations like that one, are where "your special place" came from - just ask Uncle Lee :). "Babies come out of your special place", is what I had always told our kids when they asked if they came out of your bottom. One night the TV was on, like your situation, and as Uncle Lee was flipping through the channels like he, to this day, takes great delight in doing, on came a lady who was delivering a baby. Our kids sat there with their jaws on the floor, watching in horror, and Uncle Lee says "yes kids, that's your SPECIAL PLACE" . . it was pretty "magical" as I recall it . . . NOT!! Oh well - it's DEFINITELY a memory ;)

Poor Parker, in a fetal position in a corner scratching his eyes out or something! Well, at least he's a more sympathetic guy to you now, right?! :)

AND, I'm sorry to say but you really have to get a facebook because Kamara has one and it has been hilarious getting in touch with her. So that's your homework assignment! All we need to find is good ol' Luc Luc and we're set...

Ugh! I would have been mortified!

P.S. I love the new layout. I went to the site and used one of the layouts on mine too.

You gotta watch out for the baby story! One time Halle caught part of an episode where a mom was having a c-section and she was completely sedated so they had taped her eyes shut. Halle was definitely tramatized think that would be me when I had Asher.
