sad news.

So we have had a pretty rough week but I thought I would post this just so that I don't have to explain fifty million times. I went to my doc for my first ultrasound on monday and she couldn't see the baby - so she said maybe we are just off on dates so she had me have my blood drawn to check my levels. They were good which would explain why I was still so sick and feeling very pregnant still. But she said that with numbers that high we should be able to see a fetal heartbeat. She had them run again on wed just to make sure and they hadn't gone up enough and so wed night late I had to go in for a D&C. Needless to say we are pretty sad but I have to say that I truly have the best husband in the world and an amazing support system of friends and family and I am doing very good. Anyways, I am not sure how you handle telling people this stuff but I figured I would need to explain.

I'm sorry Sarah. I hope you're feeling better too. Its such a blessing you have so many supportive family members nearby to help. Hope you're coming this next week, maybe we need to watch a little Ren and Stimpy or something. They have been known to make people feel better.

That is the worst news. I'm sorry. I know from experience that it's hard. Take things easy for a while. Keep your chin up.

We feel sad along with you. I miscarried after Spencer. Look who Heavenly Father sent after that loss. Your one and only. Midge

Know that you are in my prayers. Crystal told me on Wednesday, but I figured that you had enough going on without another interruption. I miscarried before Paul, and I was amazed at how much loss was involved in something I knew was for the best (obviously if they are lost that early they couldn't have survived) and that I had only known about for such a short time. Take time to grieve, we don't do that enough. I know that for at least a year after, I marked all the dates of who could have been. I hope you are well.

You are in my prayers. I too know from experience how difficult this is. It is amazing how something you know is for the best (how could they survive in a body that had so many problems?) and that you knew about for such a short amount of time, can cause so much pain. Take it easy and call if I can do anything to help!
