Brothers

Can I just say that these are my favorite boys in the world? As crazy as it gets around here and as much as I wish I wasn't constantly trying to keep them from beating eachother sensless, I'm so glad they have one another. I hope that they always stay close and take care of eachother and their sister. A while ago we were over at my sisters house and the kiddos were running around playing and Kaden was trying his very best to drive Haven totally nuts. When she had finally had it she told Parker "I don't like him" and then I heard Parker say "yes you do you love him...he's my brother" I don't think I've ever been so proud of him for realizing that! And for the record, Haven does still like Kaden!

Baby's best friend

Brinlee and Oprah were having a little "girl party" this morning and it was so cute. Oprah is the best dog ever! Brin was "sharing" her toys with her (smacking her on the nose with them) and Oprah just sits there and takes it. So there is my sales pitch! Now everyone go out and buy a great dane! ready...set...go!

I was debating about which costume Brin should wear this Halloween and I remembered we had the chicken! I think it's a nice fit don't you?

Then of course she found her favorite duck and it was a match made in heaven.

I caught one of Dad and Brinlee's bonding sessions of film the other day. Funny how something so tiny could have such a big guy wrapped isn't it?

Today was pretty much nuts. Danny had meetings in the morning early and then we had a lot of running around to do with the kids no less. I have meetings tonight so look out world it's a crock pot night! But I took a few snap shots of the few min. of down time we had before dinner when we snuggled up as a family and watched a little spongebob...ahhh good times!

Every morning Kaden takes his Jammies off and eats his breakfast in his spongebob underpants! I just thought that it was so blasted cute this morning I had to get some pictures!

Parker boy

So pretty much it's been a little nuts trying to adjust to preschool at noon instead of 9AM and Parker is a little tired when it's time to go but it takes no time at all to get pumped up when we walk through that yellow door! This was the other day finishing watching Tom and Jerry before preschool.

Brinlee and Rylin know they aren't allowed to go out the door on thier own but sometimes the temptation is just too great. Dustin and Danny were outside with the excavator tearing up the front yard and everyone else got to go! I guess they just wanted to join the fun. Notice who is leading the way??? Boy are we in trouble!

another saturday...another soccer game!

Parker had his second soccer game yesterday and some family and friend even came to watch him run around the people who were chasing the ball! His coach is a good family friend and reminds him...ok parker now which way are we going to kick the ball? And sometimes he even helps him out a little in getting to the correct destination!

He's 30!!!

Happy Birthday to Danny today! He turned 30 today and I tried to convince him of how exciting that is you know starting a new chapter in life and all of that but he's not buying it! Oh well we'll have a good time partying anyway!

Oh and this morning we captured a very rare site indeed! A fluffy mullet! At first I didn't believe it myself but there it was in all of it's wild plumage glory and I wanted to share it with you because thats the kind of girl I am.

One of my BFFs gave the kids cowboy hats the other day and Kaden will not take his off. He told me last week that he wanted to be a cowboy because they get to ride horses and say yeeeeeehaaaaaaw!

My mom is a Rock Star!

My mom and two of her sisters and a friend just finished the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer 3 Day walk for the cure! They raised 10,000 dollars between the four of them and walked 60 miles in 3 days in honor of thier cousin Diane who died from breast cancer. It was so amazing to watch the closing ceremonies and cheer them on thier victory lap. I was so proud of her! You Rock Mom!

Parker had his very first soccer game EVER on Sat and he was so excited he could hardly stand it. Not a whole lot of actually chasing the ball but a ton of running and that was great because he was nice and tired by the end!

Uncle Kyle and Aunt Amanda got Brinlee and Rylin these cool new bike/walkers for thier birthdays and when the boys aren't busy stealing it from her Brin loves to take it for a spin!

Am I bleeding?

So my brother Kyle has his own business working as a handyman he does everything from floor installation to painting houses to building decks and porches. The other day he was working on a deck railing for our neighbor mrs. June. I was inside my house cleaning the main bathroom and he came in and I heard him ask me from down the hall if he was bleeding. He walks in and he has blood dripping down his forehead and his arm and tells me that he just shot himself in the head and arm with a NAIL GUN! HELLO! I guess it's kindof tricky when you are trying to get these one nails in sideways and holding the railing yourself and if you don't hit it just right then the nails bounce off and let's just say he wasn't wearing safety goggles! He's lucky he's not blind! But don't worry I got him all doctor'd up and he went back out to the nail gun!
