seriously???

So I feel like I'm in the twilight zone or something. Parker broke his arm at 19 months and here we are again with Kaden... He is showing off his muscles in the second picture...can't you tell.

Okay so I must admit this is my first game of blog tag but I have made up my mind not to let ol' cal cakes down so ... here goes. The rules of the game are like this.

1. I was lauging my head off when I read Calley's number one because I too fell for the first time ( and fell hard I might add ) for a ghost buster! I am not even making this up. However my crush was not for a Bill type but rather a one mr. Dan Akroyd - once I saw the blues brothers I was sure I would marry him. I still get a little nervous when I watch him in movies!

2. I am a total insomniac and I'm pretty sure that is where my OCD comes from. I stay up until all hours of the morning as it were doing most of the time completly useless things like watching TV. I think it's because it's the only time it's quiet around here.

3. I move my furniture around at least once a month if not more than that. I just like to change things up you know... keep it real. Or maybe it's because I'm nuts...the jury's still out.

4. When I was younger ( I promise I have stopped ) I used to make up shampoo comercials in the shower where of course I was the star - oh come on you know you did that too!

5. I am so easily intimitated by people I am always worrying about what they think of me slash what they think of my decisions, especially my mom and my sister. It's enough to give a girl a complex!

6. In my dream life, I do not have terrible pregnancies or premature babies and Danny and I have at least 8 kids and live in an old farmhouse out in the country somewhere with plenty of property and we have big family parties where everyone sits around and visits and laughs and enjoys themselves.

Brinlee is a little chicken

Brinlee had a blast at the trunk or treat too hanging out with Uncle Kyle and Aunt Manda. Have you noticed that I mention them a lot? They are my saving graces I tell you, and Aunt Crystal and Uncle J have been jems as well. Where would I be without my family? A good time was had by all and the candy....oh the candy. Even chicken little here got her mitts on some leftover sucker bits - don't you just love Halloween?

The newest firefighter in the family

Parker was soooooo blasted excited about his costume this year I thought he might explode! It was pretty cute to see him get all crazy anticipating the trunk or treat festivities. He can hardly wait to show Dad his "fireman costume" when he gets home.

talk about eeeeerie!

So pretty much yesterday went like this...get up, get everybody fed dressed and take parker to speech. Come home feed everybody lunch and lay down for naps - uncle J comes to babysit - head to costco. Get home look at screaming son, send other two children home with aunt Crystal and take Kaden to the ER to "fix his ooooooowie" aka: get x rays of his most likely broken arm. Life doesn't get any better than this right? He still makes a pretty cute Lion though. They don't cast at the hospital anymore so I have to take him into the Doc after the weekend to most likely get a cast - we'll see. Hey, at least with this one we made it almost to his third birthday. (Parker broke his arm at just 19 months!) seriously I'm mother of the stinkin' year!

so as if today wasn't going to be nuts enough, this morning was Parker's last soccer game for the season! And he even got in there and kicked the ball 3 times!!! Thanks to Aunt Manda and Uncle Kyle for taking him while mom stayed home with the busted one! I did however get to take him to his awards party at DQ and watch him get his medal and an ice cream cone to boot! Parker boy you rock!

christmas ideas

okay so my smart sister put a bunch of ideas for christmas gifts on her blog and it got me really thinking that I need to make up my mind about this...Danny and I have been thinking about this john deer gator for the boys. it's pricey - almost $369.00 to be exact, but one of their little friends has one and they just love it. Of course that would be about all for them because that's my budget but I can't decide if they would fight over it or have a total blast together. Parker already has the john deer tractor but it's a pedal one and this one is battery op of course. Let me know what you think.

ahhhh the pumpkin patch

so we have been to two pumpkin patches this week and today I took the kids to the patch with parker's kindergarten class and they had a ball. Parker's little girlfriend Elsa was right there by his side and of course mr and mrs pumpkin themselves! We looked at all the animals and saw how much cows like to eat rotten pumpkins and got to pet the cute kittens before picking out our pumpkin. And what would a crazy trip be without Kaden freaking out for a bathroom and me throwing him into a honey bucket with Brin still strapped tightly to my back! oh Kaden how boring my life would be without you!

Church alone...again

So Danny has pretty much had to work every sunday for the last couple of months and I have to admit that doing sunday by myself with three small kids....not my favorite thing. Parker has been doing better and thank heavens for my family because they help a ton and I can seperate the monsters and then it's not so bad but it is still nuts. I went to fred meyer last week and got a new dress for Brin and it's kindof christmas-y but I couldn't help it so I put it on her for sunday along with her new fur coat that was a must have (even if marge calls it her "hooker" jacket)

We just love our oprah dog! She is getting so big, it shocked me when I realized her back was taller than Brin!

Okay so my sister Amanda and I painted the house while Danny was away hunting! We rock! I love the new color and even though we still have a lot of work to do I feel so much better about how it looks!

Besty cousins

These girls are a kick in the pants! They are 5 days apart but you would never know it. Ciera came and watched the kids the other day so that I could go help out at the dental office and Brinlee and Rylin were in rare form! It looks like Parker thinks they are nuts-o!

So... seriously how adorable are these cards? I made them at my sisters stamp camp the other night and I just love them! Especially the one of our family I thought it was pretty ingenious. Not to toot my horn but...toot toot!
